Saverino Dominic Pedante

Saverino Dominic Pedante aged 86 passed away peacefully in his home on June 2, 2014. "Savvy" was born in Chester, PA on Sept. 16, 1927. At age 17 he enlisted in the Navy and was honorably discharged. He worked for DuPont, first as a machinist, then as a metrology technician. He retired after 38 years. For many years he was actively involved with Newark National Little League as a coach. His greatest joy in life was his family. Savvy is survived by his 2 daughters, Mary Gould (Jim), Madeline Gunter (Allan), and son, Stanley Pedante (Michelle), 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene, his son, Dominic, his parents, Dominick and Madeline Pedante, his brother, Richard and his sister Mary.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7th at 1:00 p.m. at Bonaventure Funeral Home, 2520 Bonaventure Road, Savannah, GA 31404.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations sent to St. Jude's Hospital for Children.
