Sarah Martha Jane Haralson Walker, 87, of Hinesville, Ga., and formerly of Savannah, died Sunday, Oct 9, 2016 under the care of Hospice Savannah.
She was a resident of Bryan County Health and Rehab in Richmond Hill, Ga.
She was born in Sylvester, Ga., and was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Edgar Walker, and her parents, Thomas Henry Haralson, Sr., and Bessie May Burke.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hinesville, Ga.
She was a retired Saleslady, having worked at Kmart in Hinesville, Ga.
She is survived by 2 sons, Lt. Col (retired), Chaplain Randy Walker and his wife, Ricki, of Enterprise, Alabama; and Ricky Walker and his wife, Elaine of Hinesville, Ga.; brother, Thomas Henry Haralson, Jr., of Springfield, Ga.; sister, Eugenia "Jean" Spradley of Springfield, Ga.; a grandson, Seth Walker, of Austin, Texas and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Monday, Oct 17, 2016 at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel.
Funeral Services: 12:00 p.m. Monday, Oct 17, 2016 in the Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
Remembrances: First Baptist Church of Hinesville, Ga., or the Alzheimers Association.
