Sarah Jane Rudd, 91, of Savannah passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Hospice Savannah.
A native of Walker County, GA, she was the daughter of Grover and Mary Hammontree.
She was a member of Ardsley Park Baptist Church for 47 years, a member of the Grace Fidelis Sunday School Class, and the WMU.
She served as a volunteer for Candler Hospital Auxiliary for over 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Rudd, brother, Bill Hammontree, and her parents, Grover C. & Mary L. Hammontree.
Survivors include her daughter, Alice Rudd Schuneman, Savannah, Ga; 2 sons, Charles Rudd, and Bob Rudd both of Savannah, GA; 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 p.m. Sunday, at Baker Mccullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 20, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Ardsley Park Baptist Church.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest West Cemetery.
