Sara Highsmith Grice

Sara Lois Highsmith Grice, 89, died Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Hospice Savannah, Inc. She was a native of Brantley County and had lived in Savannah for 65 years. She worked for Fabric Inc. and retired from Belk's. She was a member of Bull Street Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence Dewitt Highsmith; her son, Charles Dewitt Highsmith; and her second husband, Harry Olan Grice.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Highsmith Hancock; one sister, Mollie Cole of Monticello; two half sisters, Nora Marshall, of Nahunta, and Ilene Johnson of Baytown, Texas; grandson, Kevin Dewitt Hancock, great-granddaughter, Shelby Oliva Hancock and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances made be sent to Hospice Savannah, Inc.
Graveside Services will be held 11 am Wednesday November 4th, 2015 at Greenwich Cemetery.
