Sanmukh "San" T. Patel, 65, of Hinesville passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019 while on a trip to India.
San came to Toronto, Canada at the age of 19 with eight dollars in his pocket and no college education. He migrated with his wife to the United States in 1977 before settling in Hinesville in 1979. Through his hard work and perseverance he successful built up a large hotel portfolio. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all. He always brought laughter, joy and smiles to everyone that he came in contact with.
Survivors include his wife, Bharti Patel; sons, Jiten Patel (Parul) of Hinesville and Nelish Patel of Johns Creek, GA; brother, Gordhan Patel (Jasu) of Hinseville; grandchildren, Shyam, Sanaa and Shraddha-Bella; other family and many friends.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
