Sandra Smith Rice, 80, of Rincon, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 at Hospice Savannah, Inc.
Sandra moved to Garden City in 1942 from Millen, GA; she was a member of Chapel in the Gardens Presbyterian Church since 1957 where she also sang in the choir.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd N. Rice who passed away October 9, 2011.
Survivors include her daughters, LeeAnn Rice Todd (James), Cindy Rice Southerland (Christopher), Sherry Rice Pearce (William Powell) and Cathryn Rice Forehand (Max); 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Daren Russell officiating. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum.
