Sandra N. (Yeomans) Leopold passed away November 24, 2017 in Savannah surrounded by family and loved ones. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold, Sr. and Ruby (Waites) Yeomans; her brother, Harold Yeomans, Jr. and husband of 58 years, Dr. Louis Leopold. She is survived by her children, Peter (Ladonna) Leopold, Daman (Michelle) Leopold and Melanie (Jeff) Carter; brother-in-law, Stratton (Mary) Leopold; grandchildren, Jessica, Tyler, Emily and Joshua.
She was a graduate of Macon Hospital School of Nursing where she met her husband, Louis, and worked along side of him in his OB/GYN practice as his nurse. She was a founding member of the Deep South Orchid Society and a member of the St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church. Visitation will be Monday 5:30 - 7 pm with the Traisagion Service to follow at 7 pm at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Hubert C. Baker Chapel. Funeral Service will be at 11 am Tuesday at St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church with Fr. John Caparisos Officiating. Interment to follow at Greenwich Cemetery.
