Mrs. Ruth Hudson Brown Stoots
Mrs. Ruth Hudson Brown Stoots, age 96, died Saturday, February 6, 2010 at The Oaks at Marshes of Skidaway Island, surrounded by her loving family.
Ruth was born November 22, 1913 in Abingdon, Washington County, Virginia to the late Ernest and Mary Snider Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Wilton (Mike) Stoots, and was a member of the Presbyterian faith and a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Rosemary S. Goodwin of Wilmington Island and two Grandchildren, Julia G. Huard and husband Mark of Miami, Florida and Ann Goodwin of Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina. One Great Grandchild also survives.
Family private funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2010. Entombment will be in the Chapel of Faith Mausoleum at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens
