Russell "Russ" Arthur Lewis

Russell "Russ" Arthur Lewis, 67, of Rincon passed away Thursday, September 21, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family.
A native of Atlanta, he was the son of the late Rev. Robert "Bob" Evans Lewis, Jr. and the late Faye Webster Fraker.
Russ was a US Navy veteran having received the Navy Medal of Commendation, was a retired Registered Nurse having worked at St. Joseph's Hospital, Correctional Medical Services, Corizan Healthcare, Hospice Advantage, Pruitt Healthcare of Savannah, Pruitt Health Hospice of Savannah and was the owner of Lewis Medical Supply.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, restoring classic cars and trucks, Golf and Fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Jennifer L. Yarbrough and his brother, Robert E. Lewis, III.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Diana Bowers Lewis; daughters and sons in-law, Anna and Trystan Handy, and Katie and Jared Summitt; grandchildren, Barrett Lewis and Warner Summitt; sister, Dottie Claset; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
A gathering will be held from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Friday, September 29, 2023 at the Funeral Home with a Memorial Service beginning at 7:00 pm with Military Honors.
