Russell was a 1972 graduate of Robert W. Groves High School and loved NASCAR.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette Bowley.
Survivors include his father, Russel H. Bowley of Garden City; sister, Beverly B. Lynn of Rincon; brothers, Larry E. Bowley (Ellen Marie) of Cartersville, GA and Steven Dean Bowley of Garden City; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Wednesday January 11, 2017 at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Thursday January 12, 2017 in the Chapel of the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
Burial: Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery
