Russel H. Bowley, 88, of Garden City died Friday, September 1, 2017 at Pruitt Health Care.
A native of Elk County, PA, Russel was raised in Ridgeway, PA. He was a graduate of Emporium High School.
He was a US Army Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict and was retired from Union Camp Corporation after 25 years of service.
Russel was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Jeannette Reese Bowley and a son, Russel L. Bowley.
Survivors include his children, Larry E. Bowley (Ellen Marie), Steven Dean Bowley, Beverly B. Lynn; 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 8, 2017 in the Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial: Hillcrest Abbey West Memorial Park Cemetery.
