In loving memory of Rosa Tootle, she was born May 21, 1937 to Mr. Mack Boles and Ms. Estella Brown. She attended Alfred E. Beach High School, also Savannah State College where she received her degree in social work. She then moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, where she worked as a social worker for 34 years in their school system. After retirement, she moved back to Savannah, Georgia.
She was a very loving person who cared for everyone she met. She loved God and was a faithful member of her church. She had a beautiful spirit. She enjoyed shopping and working in her back yard garden. She displayed pride in everything she did.
God gently stretched out his hand on March 30, 2023 at 4:52am and said, "Well done good and faithful servant, time to rest until my son, Jesus Christ, comes back to take you home."
She was a member of Connexion UMC Church, pastored by Rev. Michael Culbreth. She was also a member of the Nellie M. Strong Chapter #59 Order of the Eastern Star. She was the Past Worthy Matron of the Alpha Grand Court Heroine of Jericho and also the 32nd Order of Golden Circle-Persian Court #24. She was a Daughter of Isis Phyllis Chapter of Phylaxis Society and so many other chapters.
She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Olivia Stroman; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will dearly miss her.
