Roger Leon Johns, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 70 on Tuesday November 30, 2021.
He was a Veteran of the United States Army and served as a paratrooper and a sharpshooter.
He enjoyed life to its fullest, staying engaged in his love for music, art, cooking, hunting, fishing, gun and knife collecting. It was his wife and family that gave him his greatest joy.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 45 years, Angela L. Johns, two daughters, Tina Resente (Bradley), Shannon Messex (Jimmy) and his son Justin Johns (Katrina). He also leaves behind three grandchildren, Bradley Resente, Isabella Resente and Riley Messex.
Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm Monday December 6, 2021 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
Interment to follow at Westside Memorial Gardens Bloomingdale, Georgia.
