Robert T. Snipes, 79, of Savannah died Friday, August 18, 2017.
A native of Stillmore, Georgia; Robert was the son of the late Rufus Robert Lee Snipes and Myrtle Eunice McNeal Snipes.
He was retired from Southern Dredging Company, Inc. and enjoyed fishing. Robert was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and a good friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Bryan Keith Snipes; brother, John Herman Snipes.
Survivors include his children, Patrick Keith Snipes, Kimberly Kay Huntington, Shannon Kelly Snipes and Shawn Kevin Snipes; 9 grandchildren, Ashley Kay Snipes, Patrick Keith Snipes, Jr., Brittany Michelle Huntington, Joshua Thomas Huntington, Taylor Priscilla Wolf, Savannah Kelly Wolf, Jimmy Lee Crosby, Jr., Alexis Shawntel Snipes, Shawn Kevin Snipes, Jr.; a great grandson, Sylus David Wolf; a brother, Louis Snipes; 2 sisters, Sammy Ruffing and Liz Sharpe; many nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 p.m. Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
