Robert -Robbie- Ellis Walker

Robert "Robbie" Ellis Walker, 71, of Guyton, Georgia passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
A native of Savannah, Georgia, he was the son of the late John Ellis Walker and Lucille Edwards Walker.
Robbie was a member of Pineora Baptist Church for 28 years before moving to Eldora Baptist Church where he has been a member for 17 years and served as a Deacon. He was a graduate of Robert W. Groves High School, a member of the UA Local Union No. 188 where he was Past President in the 1980's. He retired from Union Camp - Arizona Chemical in 2018 where he had worked for 29 years. Robbie was a member of F & A.M.'s and the Guyton Masonic Lodge # 428 where he was Past Master. He loved the outdoors whether it be fishing, hunting, gardening, traveling, or hiking in the mountains.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Willa Hernandez and a brother, Joey Walker.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Leslie Anne Waters Walker; children, Brian Walker, Sarah Redden (Mark), Mary Ann Olson (Rob); grandchildren, Luke and Laurel Walker, Jude and Gage Redden, Jonathan Olson; siblings, Larry Walker (Marie), Patsy Aldridge (Chan), Danny Walker (Kim), John Walker (Karin); sister-in-law, Jackie Walker; several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Funeral Service: 12:00 p.m. (noon) Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Eldora Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Howard officiating.
