Robert Edward Humphrey, age 61, of Savannah passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at home.
Mr. Humphrey was born on August 23, 1958 in Savannah, the son of Thomas S. Humphrey, Jr. and Marion Humphrey. He was a 1976 graduate of Savannah High School and continued his formal education at Armstrong State College, earning a degree in Chemistry in 1983. Robert was raised attending Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was recently attending Asbury Memorial United Methodist Church. He was self employed in the printing business and was a former installer at Adams Doors and More. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loved to cook and grill. Robert always told it like it was and never held back.
Mr. Humphrey is survived by his son, Stephen Andrew Humphrey (fiancé, Jordan Rudd); daughter, Katie Humphrey Diedrich (Jason); siblings, Patty (Skip) Shealy, Jimmy (Michele) Humphrey, Tommy (Hope) Humphrey, Barbara (Bo) Kelley, and Nancy (Matt) Yocco.
A Celebration of Robert’s Life will be held at a later date.
