Robert H. Best "Bobby", 71, of Savannah died Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
A native of Savannah, Bobby was the son of the late David Johnson Best and Alma Lee Moore Best.
He was a former member of Taliaferro Baptist Church, Silk Hope Baptist Church and Corinth Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and had attended Savannah Baptist Center. Bobby had worked for many years at the Savannah Bank.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Loyce Edwards Best, brother, David Terry Best, sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn Best Culbertson and Clyde "Bud" Culbertson Jr. and a sister-in-law, Nancy Edwards.
Survivors include his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Charlene H. Best, Lloyd and Linda Edwards, Jack Edwards, Adel and Morris Pridgen; nephews, Steven A. Best, Jimmy A. Best, Andy C. Best, Timothy M. Culbertson, Christopher B. Culbertson, David Alan Culbertson, niece, Leea Michelle Davis, several great nephews, nieces, other family and friends.
A gathering for family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the funeral home with services beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Kenny Harrelson officiating. Interment will follow at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery in Clyo, GA.
