Richard Edward Greene, 82, of Savannah, Georgia died Wednesday July 5, 2017 at his residence.
He was born in Bakersville, N.C. He retired from the U.S. Air Force having served for 21 years. Richard was an outdoors person who loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife Kathryn Greene of Savannah, Georgia; four sons, Richard Edward Greene, Jr. ( Donna) of Commerce, GA., David Greene of Savannah, GA., Joseph Greene (Angie) of Pooler, GA. and Robert Greene (Linda) of Flowery Branch, GA.; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Ray Greene and 1 sister, Sue Woody.
A visitation will be held 5 - 7 pm Saturday July 8, 2017 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Hubert C. Baker Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, GA 31406.
