Regan Phillip Waters, 60, passed away August 10, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
He was born in Savannah, Georgia March 23, 1962 to the late Phyllis Griswold and James Henry Waters, Sr. He was educated in Chatham County Schools and graduated from Windsor Forest High School. He worked for many years as the superintendent at several apartment complexes in Savannah and Georgetown until his retirement.
Phillip was an avid Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Falcons fan. He played softball in Savannah’s adult league for many years. He had a deep appreciation for music, particularly for Rush and Led Zeppelin. He was a jokester and never failed to poke fun at all of his siblings, nieces, and nephews, always at their expense. Most especially, he loved to fish. If there was a body of water nearby and he could get his hands on a fishing pole, he was fishing.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Christina Rae Waters; nephew, Clayton Thomas Allen; and aunt, Velma O’Steen.
Surviving are wife, Robin Marafino Waters; daughters, Annie Parrish and Teri Reddish; step-daughters, Kayla, Jessica and Victoria Nichter; siblings, Lucien Waters (Cheryl); Penny Waters Allen (Chuck), Katy Be Waters, and James Henry “Skip” Waters, Jr. (Donna); aunts, Vonnie Langford, and Lavern Seay; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, August 14, 2022 at 1PM at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Tim Brown officiating.
