Raymond Richard Retzer, Sr., age 65, died Friday, August 6, 2010 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
Raymond was born on June 16, 1945 to the late, Austin and Katherine Retzer in East Orange, NJ. He was a retired banker with The Island Bank (TIB) in the Florida Keys. He was a army veteran of the Vietnam Era and a member of the St. Francis of the Island Episcopal Church.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00PM, Saturday, November 13, 2010 at the St. Francis of the Island Episcopal Church on Wilmington Island for Family and Friends.
Survivors include his wife, Sally Burton Retzer, two sons and daughters in law, Raymond Richard Retzer, Jr and wife Barbara, of Savannah, Clarke Retzer and wife Christine of Van Nuys, CA., two grandchildren, Emma and Raymond (Ray) Richard Retzer, III, one sister, Gail R. Stentz and husband Ed of Dahlonega, Ga, a niece Katherine Haack of Apoka, Florida, aunt and uncle, Tom Richards and wife Di of Vero Beach, Florida, Aunt Bee Decker of Woodstock, MD, and a host of cousins.
