It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Randy Lewis Anderson, who peacefully departed this world on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the age of 48. Born on a warm Tuesday, May 18, 1976, in Savannah, Georgia, Randy was a beloved son, brother, and friend whose spirit touched the lives of many.
Randy spent his formative years in the company of loved ones, attending Robert W. Groves High School.
Those who knew Randy will remember him as a man of unique charm and endearing quirks. Forever devoted to the Christmas holiday, he was a lifelong admirer of Elvis Presley. Randy found great joy in visiting his Aunt Ruth's home, a place where laughter and love were ever-present. In his own words and actions, Randy was described as a puzzle — a testament to his wonderfully enigmatic personality.
Randy is survived by his loving mother, Victoria "Vickie" S. Anderson, and his siblings Gail Horton, Teresa Sapp, and Louie Anderson. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, all of whom cherished his presence in their lives. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Theron "Andy" L. Anderson, and his brothers, David Anderson and Mark Bragg, who now welcome him into their eternal embrace.
Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Randy’s life at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24, 2025, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am then followed by the burial at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
Arrangements have been thoughtfully provided by Baker McCullough Funeral Home-Garden City Chapel. As we say our final goodbyes, we hold onto the memories and the joy Randy brought into our lives. His spirit will forever remain in our hearts, and his legacy will continue to inspire us.
Rest in peace, Randy. You will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
