Ralph Herbert Crawford

Ralph Herbert Crawford, age 82, of Savannah passed away Monday, October 31, 2022, under the care of Compassus Hospice.
Mr. Crawford was born October 20, 1940, in Darien Ga. to the late Herbert Cullen Crawford, Sr. and the late Mary Josephine Altman. He retired from the Georgia Ports Authority as a crane mechanic. He married the love of his life, Charlene, in 1958 and they were blessed with 4 amazing daughters. If anyone knew Herb, they knew he was a dedicated family man that worked extremely hard for his family and was loved by everyone. He will forever be remembered as the duct tape specialists, glue master, and velcro king to his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene Mable Matlock Crawford and brothers, Harry, Joseph, CB, Billy, and Charlie.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy & Rick Sistrunk, Susan & Daniel Melvin, Nancy & Lewis Bogue, and Debra Collins; brother, Herman Cullen Crawford, Jr.; 7 grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, Dennis, Justin, Jason, Christine & Angelina; and 13 great grandchildren, all of whom loved their Papa dearly.
The family requests that donations in Mr. Crawford's memory be made to the American Cancer Society ( www.cancer.org ).
