Ralph Alan Baker

Ralph Alan Baker, 66, of Rincon passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023 at his home.
A native of Brooklet, he was the son of the late Lewis and Vivian Hall Baker. He graduated from SouthEast Bulloch High School.
Alan served honorably in the United States Air Force, from which he was retired. He was also a Police Officer having worked with Chatham County Police Department, Pooler Police Department and retiring from Port Wentworth Police Department. He was a member of the American Legion Post #209 in Springfield, Knights of Columbus and a communicant of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Springfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Joyce Marie Baker.
Survivors include a son, Kevin Baker; a brother, Ronnie Baker; and sisters, Brenda Bruner and Joyce Tyson.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 10-11am at St. Boniface Catholic Church with Funeral Mass to begin at 11am. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Military Honors.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Alan’s honor to St. Boniface Catholic Church, 1952 GA-21 S, Springfield, GA 31329
