Priscilla Washington Davis, age 86, of Savannah and formerly of Chicago passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021.
Mrs. Davis was born on December 27, 1934 in Idlewild, MI, the daughter of the late Alexander and Artelia Washington. She was a graduate of Cedar Lakes Adventist Academy and continued her formal education at community college in Michigan. She worked as a Hospital Administrator throughout her career, retiring from Cook County Hospital after many years of service. She was a member of Shiloh Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She was an author and member of the National Society of Poets. In addition to her love of writing, she enjoyed classical and Christian music.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughter, Gwendolyn G. Davis; brothers, William Washington, Sr. (Phyllis), Nathaniel Washington (Kathryn), and Jerry Washington; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Linda Washington.
