Phillip Wayne Collins, Sr.,69 , of Garden City passed away Monday, September 25th, 2017 at his residence.
Born in Savannah, he was the son of Hubert Collins and Hazel Mitchell Collins. He was a retired Air Craft Mechanic for Gulfstream with 30 years of service. He loved his family, fishing and The Braves.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Peggy Marlene Mixon Collins and a brother, Gary Collins.
Surviving are his son, Phillip W. Collins, Jr. (Michelle), his daughter, Jeanie Collins Hansson, his grandchildren, Gabrielle and Samantha Hansson, Avery, Spencer and Brantley Collins, a number of other relatives and friends..
The family will receive friends Thursday, September 28th, 2017 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Baker-McCullough Funeral Home - Garden City Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 29th, 2017 at 11:30 am Graveside at Hillcrest Abbey West.
