Phil Stanley Sheppard

Phil S. Sheppard, 72, of Pooler, Georgia passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah.
A native of Carrollton, Georgia, he was the son of the late Ralph Sheppard and Eva Zenith Johnson Sheppard.
He lived most of his life in Millen, Georgia. He was passionate about horses, especially Tennessee Walkers, antique cars and trucks.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Sheppard.
Survivors include his wife of 48 year and 1 day, Evelyn Lane Sheppard; children, Phillip Sheppard (Elizabeth) and Madeline Chestnut (Jeremy); grandson, Ryan Chestnut; siblings, Cameron Sheppard, Carolyn Snyder and Randy Sheppard; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2-4PM on Saturday April 22, at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel.
