Pharis Aiden Riner, 88, of Savannah died Sunday, November 5th, 2017 at Abercorn Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Daisy, Georgia, he was the son of Ephraim Reece Riner and Minnie Sula Turner Riner. He retired from Stone Container and was of the Primitive Baptist Church faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents , his wife, Virginia Pierce Riner, his daughter, Marsha Gail Riner and his son, Terrell A. Riner.
Survivors include his daughter, Brenda Riner (Lonnie) of Pooler, his grandchildren, Brandon Riner of Savannah, Brittany Riner of Reidsville, his great niece, Leah Agonofski Thomas, a number of cousins and other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at Baker McCullough Funeral Home - Garden City Chapel , Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 6 pm to 8 pm. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 11 am at Central Baptist Church, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
