Pete Skrine, age 91, of Savannah, Georgia passed away Friday, October 6, 2023 at home.
He was born in Bulloch County Georgia to John and Lula Skrine. He retired from Stone Container when he was 62 and was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Lula Skrine; his wife, Linda Skrine; sons, Robert Skrine, and Bryan Skrine.
He is survived by daughters Gail Lyde (Bob), Debbie Monk (Bodie), and Robin Hurt; grandchildren, Elisha Adkinson (Michael), Brandon Lyde (Karen), Jason Lyde (Sara), Jessica Wiles, Heather Johnson, Louis Graham (Nikki), Robert Skrine Jr., Bryan Skrine II (Lisseth), Chris Skrine (Glendy), David Hurt (Jenny), and Michelle Daniel; many great grandchildren; one brother, Toby Skrine; and one sister, Patricia McBride.
The family will be receiving friends at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 13, 2023 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, Georgia 31406. A funeral service will be held directly after visitation in our Hodgson Memorial Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Herbert Hubbard officiating the service.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery, 1336 Dean Forest Rd, Savannah, GA 31405.
