Pehr J. Komstadius

PEHR, Johan Komstadius was born in Stockholm, Sweden, on July 25, 1944, and passed away peacefully in Savannah, Georgia on December 9, 2023, after a brief illness.

A career with the Swedish company, Husqvarna, Brought PEHR to the United States. Following his retirement, he settled happily in The Landings community enjoying golf and socializing with friends.

PEHR was the second youngest of the four children born to his parents, Johan Komstadius and Maud Pehrsson Komstadius.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Jan, and his sister Inger. He is survived by his sister Ann Furestig (Lief).

PEHR leaves behind his son Stefan Komstadius ( Maria Sigurd) Of Trollhatten,Sweden, and his daughter, Erin Briner ( Wade) of Plymouth, Minnesota. He also lives behind his six grandchildren: Ludwig Hartmann, Kajsa Hartmann, Casper Komstadius, Isabell Briner, Madeline Briner, and Evie Komstadius, in addition to his great grandchild, Adrian Hartman.

There will be a celebration of Pehr’s life on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 4:30 to 6:30 PM at the Delegal Creek Marina. Sunset room (1 Marina Drive The Landings) .
