Peggy Moore, age 87, of Savannah passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022.
Mrs. Moore was born on June 18, 1934 in Collins, GA, the daughter of the late Hattie Mae Findley and Greeley Findley. She was a 1952 graduate of Commercial High School. She began her career in banking with Savannah Bank & Trust and retired from First Union Bank after 25 years of service. She was a longtime member of Central Christian Church.
Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Moore; brothers, Van Findley and Jerry Findley; and sisters, Virginia Nelson and Frances Allen. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Ed Moore; sons, Ron Harrelson and Greg Moore; daughter, Angela Denmark (Mallie); brother, Larry Findley; sister, Vicki Lang; 3 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 14, 2022 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 315 Greenwich Road, Savannah, GA 31404.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Central Christian Church, 6810 Skidaway Road, Savannah, GA 31406.
