Paula Marlene Dyal

Paula Marlene Lanier Dyal, age 71, of Savannah passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023.

Mrs. Dyal was born on March 29, 1952 in Savannah to the late Jack Lanier and the late Faye Cox Lanier. She was long time member at Tallifero Baptist Church and began playing the piano there when she was 13 years old. Mrs. Dyal spent her life serving in various churches as the pianist, touching many lives along her way. She was involved for many years with Savannah Baptist Mission.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dyal was preceded in death by her husband, James William Dyal, Sr.; sister, Deborah Elaine Lanier; and brother-in-law, Terry Riggs.

Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, James William "Jamie" Dyal, Jr. and Jeremy & Cassandra Dyal; sister, Vicki Riggs; grandchildren, Chelsey Dyal, Jeremy Dyal, and Shawn Dyal; and a hosts of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 18th, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive Savannah, GA 31406).

The family will receive guests from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. to the service at the funeral home.
