Paul Sibilio, Jr., passed away on March 31, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Savannah, Georgia. He was 75 years old.Paul served his country in the United States Air Force as for two years before coming back to Savannah.Paul proudly served with the Chatham County Sheriff's Department as a Deputy Sheriff under Carl Griffin for six years before transferring to the Savannah Police Department. He served with the Savannah Police Department and retired after 23 years of service in 2002 as a Star Corporal. After retiring he went on to work for the Chatham County Courthouse as a "Blue Coat" and retired on March 26, 2018 after 14 years of service.Paul will be remembered for his service to community and to the service of others.He is survived by his wife of 50 years Joan D. Sibilio; daughter Andria Sibilio Douglas, son in law Michael T. Douglas and granddaughter Natalie Rene' Dent.He is also survived by two sisters and one brother; Sharon Brown (Jim), Karen Sullivan (Jerry) and Rudolph Sibilio (Ann); Sisters in law Linda Sibilio, Paulette Sibilio and Patricia Campbell.He is proceeded in death by his parents Viola Jenkins Sibilio and Paul Sibilio, Sr., Sister Marjorie Ochu and brothers Michael Sibilio and Emilio Sibilio. Paul was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. and service held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, Ga. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the 200 Club of the Coastal Empire or your choice of charity.
