Paul N. Rowland, 76, of Savannah, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, November 28th, in Savannah.
He was the son of the late Reverend J.W. Rowland and Velma Brown Rowland. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked for 42 years as an Investigator for the FBI. He was a longtime member and active volunteer at The CrossRoad Baptist Church. After Paul retired, he enjoyed volunteering at Oatland Island Wildlife Center.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judy Rowland; daughter, Juliana Rowland and her husband, Scott Mattson; sons, Philip Rowland and his wife, Becky; and Tim Rowland and his wife, Lisa; grandchildren, Tanner, Sarah, Zach, Riley, Luke, Will, Ella, Amelia, Owen and Reid; sister, Frances Knight and a brother, Jay Rowland. He was predeceased by his sister, Virgie Green.
He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, coach and friend.
In remembrance, contributions may be made to: The CrossRoad Baptist Church or to Oatland Island Wildlife Center.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 7, Thursday, at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, at The CrossRoad Baptist Church, Middleground Road, Savannah. Interment will follow in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
