Paul G. Walz, 68, of Richmond Hill passed away Thursday, August 24th, 2017 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
A native of Savannah, he was the son of late William "Bill" and Mae Walz, Jr. Paul was a veteran of the US Navy.
He was the owner and operator of Richmond Hill Marine and Sporting Goods, which he and his wife opened in 1982. Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and at the store.
He was preceded in death by wife of 30 years, Linda A. Walz; granddaughters, Clair and Tiffany Broughan.
Survivors include daughter, Marie Louise Walz Miller (Scottie); grandchildren, Scottie Miller, III and Ashton Miller; great grandchildren, Sophia Grace and Gabriel Lee Medlin; sister, Charlotte Ann Walz Lee (Charles J.); nephew, Chris Lee; other family and friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., with services beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
