Patricia Virginia Zeigler

Patricia Virginia Barrett Zeigler, age 90, of Savannah, Georgia was called to her Heavenly Home to be with her husband, Ben Harris Zeigler Sr. on Friday, September 9, 2022.
Patricia worked at the Social Security Office for seventeen years before becoming a loving stay at home Mom. When her husband retired from local 188, they both volunteered for over twenty years at Fort Clinch State Park in Fernandina Beach, Florida. Patricia was a devout Christian, loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. Patricia and Ben were married for sixty seven years. She loved spending time going fishing, gardening, camping, and nature. One of her beloved traditions she shared with her grandkids in Fernandina was to round them up in the golf cart at dusk with a spotlight and say goodnight to any animals they came across throughout the State Park. She had a heart full of love for all and always put others before herself. She never met a stranger. She was very caring and loved to have a conversation about anything.
She is survived by her daughter, Patrice Zeigler Flaugh of Ocala, Florida; two sons; Mark Barrett Zeigler, Ben Harris Zeigler Jr. (Brooke Keane Zeigler); four grandchildren, Morgan Zeigler McCullough, Virginia Catherine Isobel Zeigler, Bree Marie Zeigler, Bren Harris Zeigler, and one great grandchild Cody Grotyohann.
The family will have a small private service.
