Patricia McCutcheon Hutchinson
A loving Mother, Grandmother & Great Grandmother passed on Saturday November 19th at the age of seventy-eight in her home located in Pooler, GA surrounded by her children. Born on November 7th 1944, in Florence, S.C. she dedicated her life to her family. Christmas was always her favorite time of year, especially enjoying time with loved ones. She was an excellent gift giver and never missed recognizing a special date with a card or a call.
She enjoyed traveling, watching Georgia Bulldog’s football, along with the Atlanta Braves & Falcons.
Her working career included time as an insurance agent, later in administration for the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, and finally for Candler Medical Group.
She was predeceased by her Parents Furman & Leila Bell McCutcheon, brothers Jimmy, Hilburn, George, Leland and Keith McCutcheon, son Patrick Long, her first husband Paul M. Long Sr., and second husband Raymond H. Hutchinson.
She is survived by her son Paul M. Long Jr. (Teresa), her daughter Paula Long Miller (David), her son Matthew Long (Kathy), her brother Arthur McCutcheon (Polly), her Grandchildren Samuel Long (Danielle), David Long (Kate), Luke Long, Tiffany Long, Paul Long, Sarah Creveling, Kate Creveling, three Great-Grandchildren, and her beloved pets Sadie and Midnight.
In lieu of flowers, please make a charitable donation in her name to Toys for Tots.
Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2022 at Pooler United Methodist Church with Pastor Tom Dent officiating.
