Patricia Ann "Patty" Beasley Stalker, 81, went home peacefully,to be with the Lord Thursday, February 18, 2016. She was surrounded by loving family at her home in Savannah, GA.
Patty was born in Savannah, GA, on March 17, 1934. She was the daughter of Jake Ovie Rimes and Mary Ellen Crutchfield Rimes.
Patty faithfully attended Faith Bible Chapel in Midway, GA. While Patty was a homemaker most of her life, she also worked at Hunter Horn Plantation Hams in Savannah, greeting patrons with a smile, for many years. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Floyd G. Beasley, of 31 years, her second husband, Detmer M. Stalker, Sr., of 18 years and her son, Michael L. Beasley. She is survived by a son F. Daniel "Danny" Beasley (Peggy), her two daughters Vicki B. Coggin and Mary McLaurin (Melville), five step-children, Kathie Stasko (George), Carol Dowey (Jim), Vonnie Stalker, Detmer M. Stalker, Jr., and William Stalker (Sonya). Patty was greatly blessed with ten Grandchildren and 13 Great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 22, 2016, at 11:00 AM at Hubert C. Baker Chapel at Fairhaven Funeral Home in Savannah with funeral services starting at 1:00 PM. Burial services will be in Greenwich-Bonaventure Cemetery.
