Pamela “Pam” Donnelly Wiggins, age 71, went home to be with the Lord on December 4, 2023, after a short illness.
She was born April 13th, 1952, in Savannah, GA to the late Jean and George Donnelly Senior.
Pam was a devoted Christian and active member of her church at South Gardens and North Salem Baptist, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She was a very kind and loving mother and “Nana” to her grand and great grandchildren. She was a quiet, compassionate, and gentle soul who cherished spending time with her family and friends.
Pam was a Chatham County native and graduated from Savannah High School in 1970. She loved the history of Savannah, which shined through when she worked as a Tour Guide with Old Town Trolley. Her patience and kindness were among some of her best qualities which she demonstrated everyday as a bus driver for Chatham and Effingham County Schools.
She was preceded in death by her beloved Grandparents Eugene and Lessie Hammock, Mother Jean Donnelly, Father George Donnelly Sr., Vernon Sesler (biological father), and half-brother Steven Sesler.
She is survived by her three children, Angela (Shane) Riner, Julie (Al) Jelinski both of Guyton, James (Briana) Wiggins, Yucca Valley CA., grandchildren, Ashley Turner, Megan Brown, Aaron Jelinski, McKenzie Riner, Gunnar Wiggins, great grandchildren, Ayden and Asher Brown and her brother George Donnelly Jr.
Visitation will be held Friday 10:00 am on December 8, 2023, services to follow at 11:00 am at Baker McCullough Funeral Home 2794 Hwy 80 W, Garden City, Georgia 31408. Brief graveside service at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 315 Greenwich Road, Savannah, Georgia 31404.
