Olusegun T. Afolabi, 46, of Pooler, GA passed away at his home on February 7, 2021.
He was born February 2, 1975, in Egbe, Nigeria to Dr. Julius Sunday Afolabi and Grace Oke Afolabi. He came to Oklahoma USA in 1979 with his family.
Mr. Afolabi was a graduate of Savannah Technical College and employed as a longshoreman with the ILA for many years.
He is preceded in death by his father, Dr. Julius Sunday Afolabi and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Surviving are his mother, Grace Oke Afolabi; sisters, Wuraola Bukola Afolabi and Eyitope Afolabi of Savannah; a brother and sister in law, Bamidele and Sheena Afolabi of Savannah; nieces, Zion Afolabi, Wyntir Afolabi, and Isabelle Grace Loury; uncles, Dr. Emmanuel Afolabi, Jimoh Afolabi, Shola Afolabi, and Moses Adeniyi; aunts, Funmilayo Afolabi, Dupe Afolabi and Clara Adeniyi; cousins, Faith Adeniyi, Emmanuel Adeniyi, Samuel Adeniyi, Kunle Afolabi, and a host of other cousins and many beloved friends around the world.
A visitation will be held Friday from 5-7pm at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Hodgson Memorial Chapel. Graveside service will be Saturday 10am at Greenwich Cemetery with Rev. Justin Owens officiating.
