OC Sanderson, 90, of Savannah, died Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at his residence, under the care of Spanish Oaks Hospice.
He was born in Folkston, GA, and worked for the Seaboard Coastline Railroad for many years, and then started Sanderson Construction Company in 1970.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Norton Sanderson and his son, Warren Sanderson.
He is survived by 2 sons, Carl Sanderson (Debbie), and Raymond Sanderson (Brenda), all of Savannah, GA; 3 daughters, Sheila Gonzales, Tennille, GA; Shree Shuman (Darnell), Fleming,GA; and Lana Hickox (Michael) of Ellabell, GA; 13 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation: 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Friday at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel.
Funeral Services: 1:00 p.m.Friday in the Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
