Norman Franklin Ennis, IV, age 59, of Savannah passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.
Mr. Ennis was born on December 20, 1964 in Savannah to the late Norman Franklin Ennis, III and the late Sheila Loraine Gordon Ennis. He was a man who loved working with his hands. He became a construction framer in his younger days, then ran his own business for many years doing home remodeling and custom furniture, and later in life he “stopped swinging a hammer” as he put it, and became a commercial boat Captain. He was an avid hunter but always made it clear he went in the woods to enjoy the peace and quiet more than anything.
Survivors include his two sons Jason and Christopher (Helen), his grandson Jacob, his two sisters Lori Fritts and Jennifer Silva (Tony), his two nieces Allison Fritts and Samantha Silva, his Aunt Christine Degenhardt, Aunt Ann Frankito, Uncle Tom Gordon, countless cousins he stayed in touch with, and his devoted girlfriend of almost 8 years, Kimberly Hodges along with her 3 children and her 2 grandchildren.
The family plans to hold a celebration of life at a later date.
