Master Sergeant Norman E. "Buck" Tillman, 74, born August 30, 1943 in Savannah, Ga passed away peacefully on Saturday August the 18, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family under the care of Hospice Savannah.

Buck was preceded in death by his parents Herbert Alonzo Tillman and Dora Lee Harn Tillman; infant son, Daniel Edward Tillman; brother, Ronald Herbert Tillman; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law Marie Bart Eason and Spencer J. Eason.

Buck was born and raised in Savannah, Ga and was a 1961 graduate of Savannah High School. Following graduation, he enlisted in the Air National Guard Reserves and retired in 1991 after 30 years of service to his country. He was also retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation as Project Manager with over 30 years of service. He was an avid golfer and was a member of the First Wednesday Golf Group. He also participated in the annual Papa Joe Memorial Golf Tournament and was a member of the winning team in 2013. He was a former member of St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee and was a faithful member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Eileen Eason Tillman of Savannah, Ga; son, Norman Tillman Jr. (Stacy) of Lawrenceville, Ga; two daughters, Donna Tillman Hughes of Dacula, Ga and Janice Tillman Gravitt (Barry) of Richmond Hill, Ga; brother, Marvin W. Tillman (Debbie) of Richmond Hill, Ga; sister, Erna Snyder of Ellabell, Ga.; seven grandchildren, Nicholas and Cooper Tillman, Garrett and Hannah Hughes, and Savannah, Sarah, and Spencer Gravitt; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 5pm to 7pm Tuesday August 21, 2018 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with a Prayer Service at 7pm.

Mass of Christian Burial: 11 am Wednesday August 22, 2018 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with Monsignor James Costigan officiating. Interment will follow at Catholic Cemetery with full Military Honors.
