Nelson "Bernie" Bernard Vosburgh

Nelson "Bernie" Bernard Vosburgh, 83, of Ellabell, Georgia passed away Monday, October 23, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Bernie was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts and he was the son of the late Nelson John Vosburgh and the late Gertrude Maddox Vosburgh.
He was United States Vietnam Veteran, having served in the Navy and retiring from the Army. Bernie enjoyed playing darts, going on cruises, and dressing as a clown (Emmette Kelly "Happy the Clown) for many activities and events.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Ronald "Ronnie" Lee Vosburgh and a grandson, Jason Dowd, Jr..
Survivors include his wife LaRose "Rose" L. Pittman Douberley Vosburgh, children, Everett Douberley (Pam), Pamela Anderson (Benjamin), Bernadette Brown (Joe), John Vosburgh, Saramay Douberley (Ken Baker), 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, sister, Kathleen Gillman, other family and friends.
Visitation: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Thursday, October 26, 2023 at the Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Friday, October 27, 2023 at the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Stilwell officiating.
Burial: Gravel Hill Cemetery.
