Nedra Phillips Wilkerson, age 62, of Savannah passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

Mrs. Wilkerson was born on September 12, 1959 in Savannah, the daughter of Frank and Sarah Phillips. She was a 1977 graduate of Windsor Forest High School and continued her formal education at Augusta College. During high school and college she enjoyed her years as a cheerleader. She was of Catholic faith and was baptized at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. She loved the beach, crabbing, fishing, dancing, and being a devoted mother and grandmother to her family.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wilkerson is survived by her husband of 37 years, Charles Wilkerson; sons, John Cody Wilkerson, Matthew Kyle Wilkerson and his wife Kelly Lauren, and Thomas Kelly Wilkerson; siblings, Frank Phillips, Jr., Melissa Phillips Harper and her husband Andrew, Eric Phillips, and Victoria Phillips Negrin; 4 grandchildren; and nieces & nephews, Caitlin Phillips, Vincent Negrin, Tony Negrin, and Tori Negrin.

The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, GA 31406.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 17, 2021 at St. James Catholic Church, 8412 Whitefield Ave., Savannah, GA 31406.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. James Catholic Church.
