Nedra Jane Messex, 90, of Savannah passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at her home under the care of Hospice Savannah.
A native of Claxton, she was the daughter of the late Manson Hendricks and the late Vonnie Turner Hendricks.
She lived most of her life in the Savannah area and was a member of Bloomingdale Fellowship Church. Nedra loved cooking and being with her family. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family..
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Messex, children, Betty Faye Lincoln, Edwin Messex and Gerald Messex.
Survivors include her children, Pat Smith (Stewart), Frances Stokes, Connie Babcock (Daniel), Terry Messex (Mary), 24 grandchildren, 68 great grandchildren, a sister, Dorothy McBride, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 7, 2022 at the Funeral Home with Funeral Services beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Mark Minter officiating.
Burial: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.
