Navin Raojibhai Patel, 65, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2019. Navin was born on March 7, 1953 in Baroda, Gujarat, India. He was raised in Calcutta and moved to Baroda at the of 29. He received his graduation with Honors in Costing and Editing. He served as a Bank Officer for Bharat Overseas Bank, now Indian Overseas Bank for 34 years .
Family, Education and Spiritual Enlightenment was of lifelong importance to him. He was raised going to temple and worshipping god everyday, which he followed until the day he was hospitalized. Moving to Savannah was a blessing as that brought him closer to Bhagwan Swaminarayan. He enjoyed his evening satsang everyday with his friends at BAPS Temple, Savannah.
He was a wonderful Husband to loving wife Bharatiben, great father and amazing grand father to 2 beautiful grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife, Bharatiben Navinbhai Patel; his daughter: Sweta Lohiya, son: Milap Patel; his grandchildren: Rahul and Prisha.
