Nathalie Loubert, 56, of Savannah, Georgia passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023.
Nathalie was originally from Quebec and grew up in Montreal with her family. She had several uncles, aunts, cousins who all appreciated her for her kindness and her beautiful personality. She adored horses, dogs and cats, a love since she was very young, and which she kept all her life. She had a big 'crazy' dog as her father Fernand called him, and she took part in pedigree dog shows. With her cousin Marie-Claude Leroux, who shared her love of horses, she participated in riding camps during their teenage years. She also discovered canoe-camping with her uncle Pierre and her cousins Anne-Marie Chaussé and Marie-Claude, they had a lot of fun and shared good times together, which will remain etched in our memories.
She was a 1990 graduate of McGill University with a degree in Occupational Therapy, following graduation she was employed with Montreal Rehab Center (1990-2001), East Georgia Regional Hospital, Statesboro, Georgia (2001-2016) along with several other medical facilities (2018-2020). Nathalie enjoyed traveling the world with her husband, horseback riding, sailing, and cooking. She was a joyous person, very kind, smiling and was always there to help others. Nathalie made many friends during her time in Savannah including some which were particularly close and important to her.
Savannah, a city she called home and loved from day 1 and where many very happy and precious memories were made during the last 22 years.
Nathalie is survived by her husband William "Bill" Cordon, her father Fernand Loubert, many aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and friends.
