Monica Gale Truitt, 58, of Durham, North Carolina passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 after a brief illness.
A native of Savannah, Georgia, she was the daughter of Robert Reuben Truitt and Barbara Joyce Arnold Truitt. Monica was a graduate of Savannah High School.
Monica is preceded in death by her father, Robert Reuben Truitt, and her son, Peter James Judson IV.
She is survived by her daughters, Zakia Truitt, and Desirae Dixon; her mother, Barbara Truitt: her sister, Donna Lynn Smith (Jeff); her nephew, Daniel; her fiance, Dezrick Dixon; and several aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
