Miranda Elaine Marshall passed away unexpectedly in her home in Savannah, GA on January 24, 2022.
She was born in Birmingham, AL on March 12, 1981 to Michael W Marshall and the late A. Michelle Marshall. Miranda graduated from Armstrong Atlantic University in 2004 with a degree in education. She spent many years following God’s call to serve by working in a Christian ministry for unwed mothers and their babies at The Vine in Savannah. During this service she made a positive impact on countless people, as well as made many lifetime friends that she continued to spend time with. Her last few years have been spent working as the office manager at Immediate Med where she had many co-workers that she also called friends.
Miranda, affectionately known as Mir-Mir or Mirmaid, will be missed tremendously by all, she was known to have an immense amount of compassion and encouragement for others, as well as a quick wit, beautiful smile and wicked sense of humor. She loved traveling, concerts, games nights, watching her favorite TV series, and dinner parties. She was known to love a margarita, glass of wine, and cinnamon in her coffee.
She is survived by her father, Michael; stepmother, (aka Mom) Deeanna; brother, Morgan; three step-brothers, David (Ann), Mark (Jennifer), and Jonathan (Ashley) Sims; as well as 10 nieces and nephews.
Services to honor Miranda’s life will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Community Bible Church,1112 East 69th Street in Savannah, Georgia, where she was a member. A visitation will start at 12:00 p.m., with the memorial service immediately following at 1:00 p.m..
