Milli Jo Jernigan, 75 of Savannah, GA passed away May 28, 2021 at Landmark Hospital.
She was born March 17, 1946 in Savannah, GA to the late Mildred and Charlie Harrell. She lived in Savannah her entire life and was a 1963 graduate of Groves High School. After graduation, she attended beauty school and worked as a beautician. She worked for Quest Diagnostics for many years as a medical courier before she retired. She dearly loved her family and had a special place in her heart for her grandson. She enjoyed baking and cooking meals for special occasions to enjoy with friends and family. She was a kind and beautiful person and will be missed by many.
Surviving is her daughter, Talicia Joy Roberts (Chris) of Pooler, GA; a grandson, Christopher Justin Roberts of Pooler, GA; a sister; Sara Ann Browning of Port Wentworth, GA; former spouse and friend Robert Jernigan of Dallas, TX; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 4, 2021 with Pastor Dan Hall officiating at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel,2794 Highway 80 W, Garden City, GA 31408. The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 a.m until the service. A private burial will be held at Hillcrest Abbey on Dean Forest Road.
